3-Day, 2-Night Paris Travel Guide

Hotel: B&B Hotel Paris 10 Opéra is near the Arc de Triomphe, with convenient access to multiple metro and bus lines. Day 1 1️⃣ Musée d'Orsay (Orsay Museum) Masterpieces are concentrated on the 5th floor, including Water Lilies, Woman with a Parasol, Starry Night Over the Rhône, and self-portraits, etc. 2️⃣ Seine River Cruise Choose Bateaux Mouches. Tickets can be purchased on Taobao for 50 RMB. Queue at 9:00 and board around 9:30. It’s recommended to sit on the second floor for a better atmosphere and views. 🍽️ Food Recommendations 1️⃣ Brasserie Charlie 1.7 km from the Arc de Triomphe. The dishes are just average, but the ice cream is super rich, and the restaurant environment is nice. 2️⃣ Les Antiquaires Near the Orsay Museum. With a 4.4 rating on Google, it’s decent but slightly more expensive than other restaurants, especially the drinks. Recommended dishes: garlic snails 🐌. We also ordered duck breast and foie gras—both are on the sweet side; the foie gras tastes a bit like cola chicken wings, interestingly enough 🤔. Day 2: A Day of Exploring on Foot 1️⃣ Louvre Museum It’s advisable to get a map from the information desk for reference during the visit. The Louvre is huge, so it’s better to focus on key exhibits. The queue for the Mona Lisa takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the front row. The Louvre also houses the Code of Hammurabi in Room 227 on the 0th floor. 2️⃣ Palais Garnier (Paris Opera House) It closes at 5:00 and stops admitting visitors at 4:00. I bought the visit ticket on-site—those under 25 can get a youth ticket for 10 euros, and the regular ticket price is 15 euros. The opera house is small but gorgeous, perfect for taking photos. 3️⃣ Notre-Dame Cathedral and Shakespeare and Company We only took photos at the entrance. There’s a large stand directly opposite Notre-Dame where you can sit and admire the cathedral. 4️⃣ Le Marais (Marais District) A paradise for shoppers. 🍽️ Food Recommendations 1️⃣ Immersion Sentier Near the Louvre, with a 4.7 rating on Google. Recommended: fresh fruit pancakes and iced matcha latte. Not recommended: yogurt bowl (too sour). 2️⃣ Amorino gelato There’s a branch in front of the Opera House—it’s a chain, so you can search for the nearest one on the map. 3️⃣ Robert et Louise In the Marais District, with a 4.5 rating on Google. Recommended: snails and Rib short steak. A 7-rare steak, when cut open, looks like it’s about 5-rare. 4️⃣ The Cambridge Public House A top 50 bistro in the Marais District. The staff are super friendly—they introduced us to their staff-made Paris travel recommendation list, covering restaurant and bar suggestions, etc. Day 3: Shopping Day 1️⃣ Arc de Triomphe You can take a full view photo of the Arc de Triomphe from the opposite street. 2️⃣ Galeries Lafayette The 1st floor has bags, perfumes, and cosmetics; floors 2-4 have women’s clothing and shoes; the 5th floor has Jellycat; the 6th floor sells souvenirs, snacks, and various cultural and creative products. 3️⃣ Beryl Souvenir All the fridge magnets in Picture 8 were bought from this store. 🍽️ Food Recommendation Biubiu mala tang Near the Louvre. There’s a wide variety of dishes, including braised food—highly recommend the braised beef. You can add sesame paste to the mala tang. #ParisTravel #Paris #France #TravelGuide #ParisTravelGuide
