4 Days & 3 Nights in New Orleans: A Food Journey 🍤☕

Day 1 🍽️ Bourbon House (French Quarter) A decent Creole-style spot — we ended up here after ACME was packed 😅. Flavor was good, but not mind-blowing. Day 2 ☀️ Breakfast: Café Beignets Busy on a Sunday — even locals come here! We tried the crawfish omelette — pretty tasty. The beignets reminded me of Chinese fried dough sticks (“youtiao”) 🍩 — simple, fried dough goodness. 🌙 Dinner: Fiery Crab A last-minute choice — our Uber driver recommended it when Cajun Seafood was closed. Got the Cajun bag seafood — flavorful but way too salty! 🧂😵 Maybe they don’t charge for salt… Day 3 ☀️ Breakfast: Café Du Monde (Riverwalk location) No line here! Only beignets and coffee on the menu — similar to Café Beignets but denser. Simple and classic. 🍖 Lunch: Blue Oak BBQ (near City Park) A real highlight! 🏆 Tried beef brisket, BBQ pork ribs, wings, sausage — all delicious. The white onion side was surprisingly addictive and refreshing 🧅💚. Day 4 🐱 Brunch: Bearcat A popular brunch spot — crab omelette was tasty! The Cajun-seasoned potato cubes were a nice touch 🥔. But — mandatory 20% tip + $3 “employee benefit” fee 💸… make of that what you will. #NOLAFood #NewOrleansEats #FoodDiary #TravelNOLA #BeignetsAndBBQ #SouthernFood #FoodReview
