4 Restaurants in LA That Made This Student SO Happy Lately 🤤
Been eating out a lot in LA recently—here are a few spots that truly hit the spot! 🌶️ Rong He Sichuan Cuisine (San Gabriel) A repeat favorite! Love their "Mao Kao Ya" — crispy duck chunks in a spicy hot pot broth. Even non-spice lovers can’t stop eating. Drawback: long waits, no dinner reservations. Still worth it! 🍢 Torigoya (Little Tokyo) Yakitori gem—reserve ahead or expect a wait. The 10-skewer set is well-priced and all were delicious. Also enjoyed their karaage and oyakodon. 🍖 Meet BBQ (San Gabriel) Solid Chinese BBQ + a standout green peppercorn bullfrog hot pot — gets numbing and spicy as it simmers 🐸🌶️ Got teary by the end but so worth it. 🍛 Alice's Kitchen (San Gabriel) Cantonese comfort food recommended by a Guangzhou native. Had a rushed visit once but the food still delivered—authentic and satisfying. Sharing these happy eats as a tribute to my well-fed stomach 🙏❤️ #InternationalStudent #StudentLife #LosAngeles #LAEats#Yakitori #SichuanFood #FoodieSeason #WinterEats
