7-Day Extreme Road Trip | Toronto → Dallas Day 4

🔥After taking a few days to unwind in Dallas, I decided to embark on a short trip before departing, with Waco as my destination. This small city, nestled between Dallas and Austin, is renowned for its rich history, Baylor University, and the Dr Pepper Museum. 🥤 Stop 1: Dr Pepper Museum A visit to Waco wouldn't be complete without a stop at the Dr Pepper Museum. As one of the oldest soft drink brands in the United States, Dr Pepper was born in 1885 right here in Waco, where it began its legendary journey. The museum houses a variety of vintage soda signs, old glass bottles, and early 20th-century soda fountains, transporting me back to an era when soda was still a "luxury." It not only showcases the development of Dr Pepper but also reveals the early processes of soda production. In the interactive area, I even got to make my own soda, experiencing the fun of mixing up this "secret recipe drink." 💥Stop 2: Waco Suspension Bridge After leaving the museum, I headed to the Waco Suspension Bridge. Built in 1867, this bridge was once the longest suspension bridge of its time and now serves as a pedestrian bridge spanning the Brazos River. People standing on the bridge would throw pita bread at the distant abandoned bridge piers. Whenever someone successfully hit the piers, the crowd would erupt in cheers, adding a touch of liveliness to the otherwise quiet winter day. #USA #Dallas #Waco #DailyRecord #TravelDiary #Texas
