Celebrated my 27th birthday at 71Above in Downtown LA — and what a vibe! The restaurant is on the 71st floor, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city lights. We went with the 3-course prix fixe menu for $107 per person — totally reasonable, and the portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. The flavors? Absolutely on point 👌 🍽️ What We Loved: Starters 🐙 Grilled Octopus – Tender and well-grilled, served with a tangy cream sauce. Very refreshing if you like bright, acidic flavors! 🍝 Shiso Chitarra – A garlic cream pasta with clams, tomatoes, and a strong lemon kick. The portion was huge — I finished it all, but it could fill you up fast! Mains 🐷 Pork Loin – So tender! Served with Brussels sprouts, crispy pumpkin chips, and apple bits. A perfect balance of sweet, salty, and savory — even my picky Chinese taste buds approved! 🥩 New York Strip Steak – Solid, but not as memorable as the pork. A safe choice for steak lovers. Desserts 🍓 Strawberries and Cream – A crowd-pleaser!
