72‑Hour Escape Plan|Snow Peak Cabin Getaway near Seattle 🌴
Finally crossed Snow Peak Campfield off my wishlist ✅ On Thanksgiving Day, shops were closed — so we turned off our phones and headed to a forest‑edged beach to truly unwind 📵🌲 📅 Itinerary Day 1 Bought three days’ worth of groceries and drove 3 hours from Seattle to Long Beach 🚗🛒 By 9 PM it was completely dark. After checking in, we crossed the bridge to Astoria for a simple American‑Italian dinner — nothing fancy, just a warm start to the trip 🍝🌉 Day 2 Seattle’s rainy season arrived on schedule — 40 km/h winds made for a memorable (and windy!) BBQ experience 🍖💨 In the afternoon, we changed into swimwear and soaked in the Ofuro hot tub and sauna — washing away all traces of work stress 🛁✨ The evening ended with a charcoal‑grilled steak feast under the stars, closing out Thanksgiving night 🥩🌌 Day 3 Checked out at 11 AM — and sunny weather appeared like a surprise Easter egg! ☀️🎁 We decided to visit the Cape Disappointment Lighthouse before driving south to Portland for a delicious Thai meal 🗼🍛 The journey kept stretching longer… and it was totally worth it 🚙💖 ⛺️ Tips The campground is well‑equipped: café, store, showers, Ofuro hot tub & sauna (don’t forget your swimsuit!) 🩱🛀 We stayed in the Jyubako Cabin — pet‑friendly, with private bathroom, kitchen, utensils, hairdryer, and a BBQ grill right outside 🐕🍳 You can rent cooking gear and tarps on‑site ⛺️🔥 The shop sells Campfield‑exclusive cups and apparel 🛍️👕 Reliable Wi‑Fi covers the whole campground — good enough for streaming or remote work 📶💻 #PortlandGetaway #WinterCamping #SnowPeak #CabinLife #SeattleWeekend #PacificNorthwest #TravelDiaries #DigitalDetox #NatureEscape #HotTubVibes
