I’ve been really enjoying life lately and put together a list of 9 restaurants worth checking out! Whether you're a local or a tourist, save this guide — these spots are totally worth trying 😋 1️⃣ Izakaya Tori 🍢 $$ One of the best Japanese restaurants in Tampa! I’ve been here countless times. Their skewers are a bit pricey but delicious (pork belly, eel, and chicken gizzard are great). They offer a wide variety of sushi rolls (both raw and cooked), super fresh sashimi, and solid ramen & takoyaki. 2️⃣ Sarione 🥘 $$ A popular Korean chain. Some locations offer BBQ, but the one I often visit is cozy and focuses on dishes like hearty tofu soup, ox bone soup, seafood pancake, and galbi — all highly recommended! 3️⃣ Jackson's Bistro, Bar & Sushi 🍤 $$-$$$ Perfect for seafood lovers! They serve fish, lobster, oysters, crab cakes, and even sushi. Also a great spot for drinks — some people come just for the cocktails! Beautiful riverside location. 4️⃣ Oxford Exchange 🍳 $$-$$$ Brunch and afternoon tea require reservations — but it’s so worth it! The brunch is delicious and photogenic (I love all their egg dishes!). The interior is stunning — with a bookstore, bar, and coffee shop. Perfect for photos! 5️⃣ Ulele 🌾 $$$ Reservations recommended! Must-tries: the seafood risotto (so flavorful!), alligator bites (a unique and filling appetizer), and the Waterworks Meatloaf (a generous portion of tenderloin). 6️⃣ Green Lemon 🌮 $$ It can get loud inside, but I think it’s one of the best Mexican restaurants in Tampa. Their tacos and fiesta bowls are delicious and super affordable. 7️⃣ Bulla Gastrobar 🥘 $$-$$$ A popular Spanish chain (I’ve also been to their Atlanta location). Brunch and lunch are great deals — dinner is pricier. Their paella is huge and perfect for sharing. Don’t miss their desserts and drinks! 8️⃣ Columbia Restaurant 🌊 $$$ A famous Spanish restaurant with a location in Ybor and another in Clearwater with amazing ocean views. Their paella is a must-try! 9️⃣ Brio Italian Grille 🍝 $$-$$$ An Italian restaurant located near International Mall. Spacious and elegant — try the salmon fresca, peach sangria, and pasta dishes.
