A ‘Jackass’ Pop-Up Is Headed To LA For Three Days Only – Here’s How To See The Cast’s 25th Anniversary Art Show
Welcome to *Jackass*! For three days only, an art show celebrating the 25th anniversary of the iconic franchise is headed to Los Angeles. The newly announced event promises to “celebrate 25 years of the infamous franchise — commemorating a quarter-century of absurd innovation, cartoonish creativity, and cultural influence.” Honoring *Jackass*‘ “legacy of stupidity,” the show features work from over 30 artists, including John Waters, Steve-O, Spike Jonze, and Johnny Knoxville himself. The franchise star celebrated the news on social media. “Hot damn you read this right! In honor of our 25th anniversary we’re gonna have ourselves a good old fashioned art show,” the star wrote. “Jackass cast members, select crew and some pretty unbelievable artists are contributing amazing Jackass inspired art works. Cant believe some of the people we have in the show. 🎉 So grateful. Heck yeah!!! Be there next week at the Complex gallery on Fairfax November 14th the 16th. Wahooo!!!” According to a press release, “The exhibition captures the energy, identity, and impact that Jackass has smeared over the last few decades, offering both longtime followers and new audiences a dynamic look at art shaped by its enduring spirit of having fun with your buddies.” Hosted by Complex LA, the pop-up is free, open to the public, and first-come, first-served.
