๐ A Beach Most Tourists Donโt Know About | Ginger Rogers Beach ๐คซ
๐ LA is finally warming up! Warm sand, unbelievably blue skies, and that refreshing ocean breezeโฆ summer vibes are in full swing! ๐๐ด ๐ This time, I visited Ginger Rogers Beach โ a local favorite thatโs rarely crowded with tourists. Parking is easy and only $9 for the whole day! ๐ฐ ๐ Quick tip: Google Maps might say itโs closed, but itโs totally open โ so donโt worry and head on over! โ ๐ This beach has long been known as an LGBTQ+ friendly space ๐ณ๏ธโ๐ โ the atmosphere is inclusive, relaxed, and just plain wonderful. Everyone is free to be themselves here. ๐ We arrived around 11:30 AM on a Saturday, and there were still plenty of spots right by the water. We set up our umbrella, laid back, and felt instantly relaxed โ so therapeutic! ๐๏ธ๐ ๐ Hereโs a little driving hack for you: From the 10 Freeway, take PCH and head toward the 4th/5th St exit. You donโt have to turn onto local streets โ even though the sign says โEmergency Vehicle/Residents Only,โ you can keep going straight. At the checkpoint, the parking lot will be on your left โ just turn in early and youโre there! No detours needed ๐๐จ ๐ Thereโs also a cute little shop on-site where you can grab snacks, cold drinks ๐ฆ๐ง, and even rent a beach bike to cruise along the coast. So chill! ๐ดโโ๏ธ ๐ Warm weather, soft sand, the sound of waves, and bright blue skiesโฆ isnโt this exactly what summer in LA is all about? ๐ ๐ Address: 14710 CA-1, Santa Monica, CA 90402 #LABeachGuide #LATravel #LASummer #KidFriendlyLA #LGBTQFriendlyLA #LocalSecrets
