๐จ A Beautiful Hotel with Great Foodโฆ But Not So Quiet ๐ฟ
The Beau Hotel is truly a stunning property, blending elegance with modern comfort. The hotel features a beautiful bar and an on-site restaurant where you can enjoy a (healthy!) paid breakfast and dinner. A lovely signature scent drifts through the common areas, creating a soothing and upscale atmosphere. ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ The rooms are spacious, and each includes a private bathroom with a sink, shower, and toilet. A nice touch: each floor has a coffee nook with complimentary coffee, tea, and water. โค๏ธโ Thereโs also an ice machine on-site โ though itโs a bit of a letdown that the rooms donโt have mini-fridges. ๐ง๐ซ The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist โ definitely a highlight of the stay! ๐โโ๏ธโจ However, the real downside was the noise. While earplugs are provided in the room, they did little to mask the sound of the loud air conditioning or the garbage trucks that start rumbling through as early as 6 AM. ๐๐ฃ It really impacted our sleep. We knew we were staying in the Gaslamp Quarter, known for its vibrant nightlife, so we expected some noise from late-night revelers โ but that turned out to be manageable. The real culprits were the AC system and street noise. If youโre looking for a quieter environment, Iโd recommend choosing a hotel by the bay โ the views are gorgeous and the atmosphere tends to be much more peaceful. ๐ ๐คซ #BeauHotel #GaslampQuarter #SanDiegoStay #LovelyButLoud #HotelReview #TravelTips #NoiseAware #BayAreaAlternative
