A Bite of Wow! 🍣 High-Value "Floral Japanese Cuisine" in LA 🌸

Went out with friends over the weekend and tried Crazy Rock’n Sushi in Fullerton—so glad we did! The owner mentioned they had a new spring menu, so we decided to give it a try… and wow, it was some of the most refined Japanese food I’ve had in LA! ✨ 👇 Here’s what we ordered 👇 🌟 Haruka Zen: A "spring feast" decorated with colorful edible flowers 🌼🌸—gorgeous to look at! Includes 12 kinds of sashimi over vinegared rice, wrapped in crispy nori. The uni was buttery and sweet, the otoro and salmon belly were rich and fatty, and the hamachi and yellowtail had a perfect chew. The plate came with different sauces to mix and match—my favorite was the blue crab with scallop and yuzu pepper: savory crab followed by sweet scallop and a spicy yuzu kick. One bite and I was hooked! 👍 🌟 Toro Toast: Never thought toast 🍞 and toro could go so well together! The milk-bread toast was toasted until crispy and creamy-sweet, topped with soft, savory toro and a dab of caviar. Sweet-salty lovers, this one’s for you! 🌟 Unagi Tempura: Crispy fried eel with a unique dipping sauce made with mayo, mustard, and sesame oil. Even the small bones were soft—no need to pick them out! 🌟 Combo Meal: They also have build-your-own combos—we chose tonkatsu, takoyaki, and salmon-avocado sushi 🥑. Huge portions for just over $20—enough for two people! 👉 The owner said the Haruka Zen is still being fine-tuned and will officially launch in about a week.
