A Blissful Buddhist Kingdom--Bhutan
✨ Tiger's Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang) ✨It's known as the thousand-year-old Buddhist light on the cliff, perched 900 meters above a precipice as if held aloft by the hand of a deity. A three-hour hike up the mountain takes you through pine forests where the wind carries the sound of chanting, and the fresh air rejuvenates the spirit, healing all fatigue. The best part is the viewing platform on the mountainside; if you're lucky, you can see a rainbow stretching across the valley! When the sea of clouds surges, it feels like walking through the heavens, incredibly dreamlike. 🌌 Phobjikha Valley In winter, Phobjikha is the private stage for the black-necked cranes. In the morning mist, they stretch their long necks and emit ethereal calls. At night, walking along the wooden boardwalk by the wetland, the night sky resembles a piece of velvet studded with the "diamonds" of the Milky Way, and occasionally you might see a shooting star streak across the sky—extremely romantic! 🌈 The cabins in the valley are cozy, with butter tea warming on the stove, creating a snug atmosphere. (🚶♂️ Eco-hiking: Follow the forest rangers to find yak footprints; the chance of encountering a snow hare is ten times higher than encountering tourists!) 🛤 Druk Path The three-hour drive from Thimphu to Punakha is a love letter from the Himalayas to road-trip enthusiasts. Along the way, the wind, scented with pine needles and snowmelt, fills your lungs. Passing through primeval fir forests and stopping at the "108 Stupas" viewpoint, where prayer flags flutter noisily, the locals are also very warm and welcoming. #Druk Pizza#Off-the-Beaten-Path Travel #Bhutan #Buddhist Kingdom#trip diary#travel guide#Bhutan guide#Bhutan travel#Phobjikha Valley#Paro Takts
