🪄 A Bowl of Braised Pork Rice Brought Me to Lyon 👩🏻‍🍳🍖

I'd seen Chef A-Chen rave about an amazing braised pork rice spot in Lyon 🤩, and as an Asian food lover, I couldn't resist! So on our way back from Annecy to Paris, we made a detour to Lyon —and oh man, what a perfect decision ! Lyon is so chill, with great food and even better vibes 🙌✨ 👉🏻 The restaurant is called "Ben’s Bowl" , specializing in Taiwanese cuisine ! - Their braised pork rice 🍚 isn't mushy—it's tender, well-balanced chunks of pork (just the right fat-to-lean ratio!) with perfect seasoning. Couldn't stop eating! - Don’t skip the popcorn chicken rice 🍗—crispy outside, juicy inside, with a light batter. SO GOOD. - The boba milk tea 🧋 was decent (better than most European bubble tea spots, tbh). This meal was pure comfort food heaven 🥹💖. Since it was raining 🌧️, we skipped sightseeing and just wandered around town. 👉🏻 Stumbled upon "Welcome Clothing" 🛍️—a fantastic boutique with a super friendly owner (we had a great chat, even jokingly dissed Parisians lol).
