Called up a friend and made our way to the Queen Mary Tea Room for a lovely Saturday afternoon. The vibrant, elegant interior filled with floral charm and warm staff felt like a world away from Seattle’s gray skies outside 🌧️🌷. We dove straight into the long tea menu — the afternoon tea set is listed right in the middle, perfect for sharing. Each of us picked our own pot of tea 🍵, and the experience began! 🧁 The Sweet & Savory Journey: Starter Sundae: A refreshing mix of flavored sherbet and cookies — a nice prelude 🍧 Three-Tiered Stand: The real star! Top Tier: Savory delights like sausage rolls and mini quiches 🥧 Bottom Tier: Delicate tea sandwiches — tuna and cucumber were our faves! 🥒🐟 Middle Tier: Sweet cakes and fresh fruits — a bit too sugary for me, but pretty to look at 🍰🍓 You can even ask for milk to make your own tea latte or milk tea right at the table! And yes — leftovers are packable, tea included 🥡💚. 🎀 The Vibe: Felt truly British and beautifully dressed — from girls' catch-ups 👯‍♀️ to little ones in Belle dresses celebrating birthdays 👑💖.
