A Culinary Journey by the River in Durango

🌈Last summer, we stayed for a night at the DoubleTree Hotel in Durango and stumbled upon Animas River Grille. 🍬This riverside restaurant is located right next to the hotel’s parking lot, with the meandering Animas River just steps away, making for a picturesque dining experience. 💛The menu at Animas River Grille offers a wide variety of dishes, from classic sandwiches to the signature Reuben sandwich, all served with house-made fries. 🧊Each dish is a delight to the taste buds. Although the prices are a bit on the higher side ($13.50 for a sandwich), the quality of the ingredients and the unique dining atmosphere make it well worth the cost. 🧁We chose to dine al fresco, where we could enjoy the tranquil riverside views and take a leisurely stroll to Durango’s city center. 🍮The service was exceptional; our server was very helpful in recommending local beers and even took a group photo for us, making the evening truly memorable. #AnimasRiverGrille #DurangoFoodJourney #RiversideRestaurant
