A Day of Eating and Drinking in Savannah 🍽️

A Day of Eating and Drinking in Savannah 🍽️☕ Checked out six spots in one day: three cafes and three restaurants—perfect pacing~ ☕ Cafe Fox coffee Tried the Mexican🇲🇽 coffee, which is basically cinnamon coffee hhh. Lucky for me, I love cinnamon, so it hit the spot~ Goose coffee Didn’t get coffee here, but around 11 AM, there was a huge line outside! I was curious, but I stick to my “never wait in line for food” rule in the US, so I skipped it😆😆. If you pass by with no wait, do me a favor and try it! Dottle’s coffee A tiny, cozy shop full of cute details🏡. The coffee I ordered was nothing special, but this sugar (frosting, not cream!) cake was amazing~ Avoid if you don’t like sweet stuff, but I have a sweet tooth, so I finished it all🍰. The breakfasts at the next table looked great—worth trying for breakfast! 🍴 Restaurant Sorry charlie’s oyster bar The sign is so big you can’t miss it when entering the city—it feels very touristy. Got 18 oysters: three large, the rest small🦪. Also ordered a soup (tasted normal, didn’t take a pic). The drink I got was spicy with too much syrup—definitely stir well before drinking🍹! The braised beef was tender, and after a 4-hour drive, we were starving, so we cleaned our plates. Vinnie vancoco pizza at night—people hung out here from noon till night, making us curious every time we passed🤔. Forgot our IDs, so no bar hopping—stuck to restaurant drinks. Their beer is fresh; tried the lager, which was good🍻. Got two pizza flavors—skip the veggie one I had, it was meh. Menu in p12 for reference~ Common restaurant The “happy hour” I read about on Xiaohongshu is gone—must’ve been canceled. Their oysters are $2 each, small but juicier than Sorry Charlie’s. Freshness is similar, but the vibe here is nicer🦪. The elderly couple in my last pic dressed formally, while the rest of us (including us) wore flip-flops—hard not to at the coast😂! The pasta was delicious, and the drinks were good too—you can tell by the bar they know their cocktails. Pineapple rice was okay—lots of pineapple motifs here, so try it if you need a starch. They used sticky rice, like a modified Southeast Asian dish😆😆. I think all these spots are worth a visit~ When traveling, try new things—it adds little surprises to the trip✨! #savannah
