π§Έ A Day Trip to Providence, Rhode Island
π I really enjoyed the vibe at the Providence Athenaeum β though small, the library is full of charming details, and its atrium filled with paper umbrellas is particularly lovely. π¨ Right across from the library is the RISD Museum. I happened to visit on a Sunday, which was free admission! π» After the museum, take a walk uphill to Brown University. The campus isnβt too big β you can explore it in about an hour. Many of the buildings are beautiful, and I even spotted wild rabbits grazing on the lawn! π The town has plenty of cute shops along Benefit Street, and Westminster Street is also great for strolling and shopping. π± Providence offers lots of delicious eats:Charuma has great fried chicken. πDen Den Korean Fried Chicken near Brown is also highly recommended (make sure to go to the one on the hill!). π₯For dinner, Iβd suggest Palo, a Spanish tapas spot. Its sister restaurants Gift Horse and Oberlin are also great for seafood. And donβt miss the famous fruit tart from Pastiche for dessert! #BostonDayTrip #RhodeIsland #Providence
