A Heartwarming Cambodian Dining Experience

✨While visiting family in Providence, we stumbled upon this restaurant named "Gourmet House" that specializes in Cambodian cuisine. ✨ At first, we were hesitant because of the straightforward name, but it turned out to be a hidden gem—the menu spans Cambodian, Thai, Chinese, and Vietnamese dishes, with over twenty traditional Cambodian options alone. 🍁The beef skewers were grilled to a fragrant crisp, perfectly complemented by a lemongrass dipping sauce. The amok fish, steamed in banana leaves with coconut curry, was tender and flavorful. 🍁Noticing it was our first time trying Cambodian food, the owner kindly offered us a complimentary plate of fried spring rolls, which tasted especially authentic when eaten with mint leaves. 🥳The red and gold décor exudes Southeast Asian charm, accentuated by photos of Angkor Wat reliefs on the walls. 🥳The owner-chef often comes out to chat with guests, sharing stories of learning to cook in Phnom Penh as a child.
