Rhode Island | Newport + Providence Stroll
🏰 The Breakers The first floor is extravagantly luxurious, while the second feels more elegantly understated. It seems people during the Gilded Age really didn’t need much sleep! 🏛️ The Elms Compared to The Breakers, The Elms feels more like a mansion built purely for socializing. Behind its doors, five levels unfold like a massive backstage factory of hospitality. 🍝 The Mooring Seafood Kitchen & Bar Though Boston is known for lobster, as someone from California, I was more impressed by their pasta than the lobster itself — truly exceptional! 🏙️ Providence With Brown University on summer break, the entire city felt like a quiet, empty town. Here are some dining recommendations: 🔥The famous fruit tart at Pastiche Fine Desserts was incredibly fresh and juicy — unlike any I’ve tried before. That said, their tiramisu was fairly ordinary. Don’t miss the stone pot bibimbap at Den Den Cafe. ⭐For delicious and generously portioned yakitori, try PVD Noodle Bar — a cozy and stylish Japanese spot. #RhodeIsland #Providence #NYCGetaway
