🦜🐘🐾 A Day Trip to Zurich Zoo
Preparation in Advance: Buying tickets online saves you 1 Swiss Franc, and every little bit helps. The key is to avoid the queue by having your tickets ready. Check the official website for any special events happening on the day you plan to visit, note the times, and review the map. For example, elephant swimming, feeding giraffes, feeding penguins, and some animal shows. If there are specific events you want to see, it's best to check the times, look at the map, and plan your route. Parking on the Day: Parking spots are limited. We arrived at 10 a.m. on the first day of the Easter holiday, and there were no spots left near the zoo. So, park as soon as you see a spot. We initially passed by the tennis court without parking, but after circling back, it was full. We ended up parking at the golf course, 3 kilometers away. Although there's a shuttle bus (Schuttel Bus) from the zoo to the parking lot, it's indeed a bit far. Dining: We didn't have a full meal at the zoo. We prepared bread, fruit, and snacks at home beforehand. This turned out to be a good decision. There were so many people eating. I bought coffee, and although it didn't look crowded, I still waited for a long time because it was really slow. The weather today was very comfortable, sunny but not hot. The animals at the zoo were all happily roaming around! We saw so many animals, heard parrots singing, watched seahorses swimming, spectacled bears climbing trees, monkeys digging stones, elephants grazing, and penguins eating fish. We also visited the tropical rainforest, where the animals are free-roaming, and you can get up close to many large and small animals and plants. It was so much fun and fascinating. After getting home, I was still imitating the way penguins walk, it was hilarious! #ZurichZoo #ZurichZooRecommendation #SwitzerlandGoodPlaceRecommendation
