A Delicious Sunday Roast! π Cozy Food
On Sunday, we were strolling through the Victoria area and stumbled upon a real gem β The Warwick, a gastropub and family restaurant. A lovely local lady even stopped to help us and highly recommended it! π₯° The place was buzzing! Every table was full, so we were led upstairs to a lovely spot by the window, adorned with a large pot of beautiful flowers. πΈ And it did not disappoint! Our server, Paolo, brought us the most incredible Sunday roast. We enjoyed a spectacular plate of succulent lamb shank with mint sauce, rich gravy, served on a bed of spinach with potatoes, honey-glazed carrots, caramelized onions, and a perfect Yorkshire pudding! π½οΈβ¨ We also started with a delicious appetizer of heirloom tomatoes with Burrata cheese. π π§ For dessert, we indulged in a decadent chocolate lava cake with pistachio ice cream β pure heaven! π«π¨ We even had the chance to chat with the chef and thank him for the incredible meal. Both Paolo and his assistant, Emily, were incredibly helpful and added so much to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. π This is a true hidden gem, serving fantastic food while maintaining that wonderful, cozy, family-run feel.
