Spent Independence Day weekend in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and wow — even without fireworks, this town knows how to charm! 🎆❤️ Well, okay, there were no actual sparks in the sky, but the atmosphere? Absolutely sparkling! Came into town to take care of some errands over the weekend, and decided to make a mini-trip out of it. And let me tell you — Portsmouth did not disappoint! 🏘️💫 The streets were buzzing with energy, packed with locals and visitors alike. You can really feel the vibe — this is one popular place! 👏🥳 Grabbed lunch at the famous River House restaurant 🦞🍽️, and finally tried their much-talked-about lobster roll! It was tasty, no doubt — fresh, buttery, and generously filled. But honestly? I couldn’t help comparing it to the one from Panera Bread 🥖🤔. Panera’s might be a chain version, but it’s a little more affordable and honestly just as satisfying — maybe even more so? River House’s roll felt a bit smaller and definitely pricier. Still a good experience though! 👍 Definitely coming back — maybe next time for the fireworks?
