A Gem in the Bustling French Quarter! 🏛️🍹

I visited Cane & Table twice during my trip to New Orleans – once for a food tour, and again simply because the food and drinks were just that good! 😍✨ Finding a well-balanced cocktail in the French Quarter can be a challenge, but Cane & Table absolutely nails it. We tried the sweet plantains and pork cracklings – a delicious twist on chicharrón that felt both familiar and exciting. The cracklings were glazed with a subtle sweet syrup that didn’t overpower their savory crunch – a perfect balance! 🐖🍯 As for the drinks: their take on the Hurricane 🌀 (which, in my opinion, is far better than Pat O’Brien’s) and the modern Bombo were exceptional – neither too sweet nor too bitter, just perfectly crafted. The vibe here is unmatched. With its brick walls, peeling wallpaper, and candle wax dripped from years of use, the space feels layered with history 🕯️📜. It’s a calm oasis away from the chaos of the French Quarter.
