A Great Spot Around Hamburg: Zoo Schwerin 🐘
Schwerin Zoo may not be vast in size, but I was pleasantly surprised to find large animals like giraffes, rhinos, and kangaroos, as well as penguins kept outdoors, and peacocks, marmots, and pheasants roaming freely. It's known for its garden-style design, with beautiful scenery that looks great in any snapshot. 📸❤️ I think the only downside is that the central lake seems to be stagnant, with a lot of green algae, making it look a bit greasy. This zoo is perfect for kids, with a playground and several uniquely designed pavilions for learning. Although small, it's thoughtfully curated, with places like a frog exhibit🐸. Some of the staff at the zoo restaurant are disabled and may move a bit slower, but they serve guests diligently and create a harmonious and loving environment with the children. Although there are signs for two restaurants, as of July 2024, only one is open, and there are quite a few shops selling ice cream. The zoo isn't large, and you can finish exploring in half a day if you're quick. If you're with kids, you can spend a bit more time having fun. #Zoos #SchwerinCastle #Schwerin #HamburgDayTrip
