A Hidden Gem of Asian Fusion Cuisine Found by Accident😋
This is a revolving restaurant with 360-degree glass windows, and the floor beneath the tables and chairs slowly rotates. Located at the top of a tower, the restaurant offers a panoramic view of the city.😋 🥣It’s a Norwegian-style restaurant, and overall, the food is quite good, mainly because of the amazing views. We were four people, and each of us ordered a main course, a drink, and a dessert (I personally had the spare ribs, a latte, and a banana split. The ribs were great, the coffee was great, but the banana split was quite average—I wouldn’t recommend it). We also ordered a small appetizer platter (which was decent). We actually ordered a bit too much and ended up with a lot of leftovers.🥣 A group of us, drenched in the heavy snow, made our way down from the mountains. Most popular restaurants on Xiaohongshu require reservations and don’t allow walk-ins. So, we randomly picked a place in the city center, and it turned out to be quite good! After several days of Western food in Norway, it was finally time to satisfy our Asian cravings.🦐 📍 Restaurant: Hibana Tromsø Address: Storgata 73, 9008 Tromsø, Norway 🌟 Katsu Pork The best pork cutlet we had! It was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The accompanying soy sauce noodles were slightly sweet and a great match. The broccoli also helped cut through the richness. 🌟 Hibana Steak A steak that never disappoints. We ordered the filet medium-rare, which was just right. The texture was smooth and delicate, and the meat was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We always finish the little potatoes that come with the steak.🦐 The sushi and tempura were pretty standard. As for the reindeer ramen, it’s better to skip it; the reindeer meat was a bit tough. #Tromso #TromsoFood #Norway #NorwayTravel #NorwegianCuisine
