A Hidden Seafood Bistro in Lyon's Market
We had a one-hour transfer time in Lyon. Since it was Monday, many restaurants were closed. Then we found this seafood restaurant with good reviews, just a 10-minute walk from the train station.😍 The seafood here is incredibly fresh! After finishing the seafood platter, we ordered exactly the same one again! The conchs were even cooked with Sichuan peppercorns and star anise, making them the most five-spice flavored conchs I've ever had in France!🤣 Five such large scallops cost only 22 euros! The flesh inside was so sweet! It's been a long time since I've had such high-quality and cheap scallops.🤣 If you're going to Lyon, don't miss this place! Looking at the pictures, there are many other delicious foods in the market, but most of them were already closed when we went there late. I really want to go again when I have the chance! Parc de la Tête d’Or: A wonderful park—I love it! People walk, sit, and on sunny days, it feels like you could forgive everything. It has France’s largest free zoo 🦁. The market itself is a vibrant spot with a bustling atmosphere on usual days. Stalls are filled with fresh produce, local cheeses, baked goods, and various delicacies. Even though we went late, we could still imagine how lively it is during peak hours, with vendors shouting out their specialties and customers chatting while picking out ingredients.😘 This little seafood bistro is like a gem in the market. The owner is friendly and knows exactly how to showcase the freshness of the seafood. The seafood platter is a feast for the eyes and taste buds, with shrimps, oysters, clams, and other seafood all looking plump and juicy. The way they cook the conchs with Chinese spices is a pleasant surprise, blending Eastern and Western flavors perfectly.🙌 The scallops are the star here. Each one is huge, with a tender and sweet texture that melts in your mouth. At such a great price, it's really a steal. It's the kind of place that makes you regret not having more time to explore the market and try other foods.😁 #Lyon #LyonFood#Lyongood #TravelTheWorld#Lyonnice#Lyontime
