Bhutanese food! A high 4.8 rating on Google Maps π₯π₯π₯I went to eat Bhutanese food at noon today, and it was really delicious. Moreover, the dishes were all quite novel, and I felt like I'd never tasted them before. However, almost all the dishes were marked with chili peppers, so they're not suitable for people who can't eat spicy food at all. We haven't ordered the momo recommended by the landlady yet, and we'll definitely go again. The restaurant was playing Bhutanese music all the time, and the overall decoration was great, with strong Bhutanese characteristics. The dragon on the sign almost made me think it was a Chinese restaurant. The first dish was an appetizer, Jumma, which only cost 15 but had a generous portion. It was the restaurant's homemade spicy stir-fried pork sausage, with some spices in it. I could taste the numbing flavor of Sichuan peppercorns, and it was really tasty.β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ The second dish was Shakam Datshi. The restaurant's homemade air-dried beef became more flavorful the more you chewed it. It got a tiny bit stuck in the teeth and had a slight spiciness. There was also cheese in the soup. Since my friend doesn't eat spicy food, the fresh chili in it had been replaced with bell peppers, but it still had a little bit of heat. The third dish was stir-fried chicken noodles, which was fragrant. It wasn't to Western taste; it had a savory aroma. The three dishes plus a 10% weekend surcharge only came to 65. πThe Druk Family Restaurant, Mawson You need to drive there; public transport should be quite inconvenient. I've started exploring the food in the southern district. So happy! π₯³ #CanberraFood #CanberraLife
