A Historic Gem Near Transit 🚊

In mid-April 2024, my daughter and I stayed at the Mayflower Park Hotel in Seattle for five nights before heading to the Tulip Festival and onward to Oregon. From the moment we arrived, this historic hotel charmed us with its elegance, warmth, and unbeatable location. 🚈 Easy & Affordable Airport Transfer We flew into Sea-Tac late on a Friday night and easily found the Link Light Rail direct to downtown. A short and safe walk brought us right to the hotel — all for just $3.50 per person! The hotel is also just one block from an Enterprise office, making our rental car pickup seamless when it was time to hit the road. 🍫 Warm Welcome & Sweet Upgrade We were greeted at the front desk by a kind gentleman who welcomed us with Mayflower anniversary chocolate bars 🍫. To our delight, my king bed request appeared to have been upgraded to a suite with a microwave — a wonderful and unexpected surprise! 🛋️ Spacious, Comfortable & Well-Equipped The suite featured: A separate living area and work desk Ample outlets for all our devices An incredibly comfortable bed with four pillows and various neck supports for a perfect night’s sleep 🛏️💤 Luxury Antica Farmacista grapefruit toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion) — so lovely! 🧴🍊 🍟 Must-Try Dining & Drinks Don’t miss the Parmesan garlic fries at Oliver’s Lounge — absolutely addictive! Be sure to check their happy hour for the best deals. 🍻🧀 🏛️ Rich History & Thoughtful Touches We loved the historical display in the lobby lounge — a beautiful reminder of the hotel’s legacy. The bell staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. 💰 Great Value for the Experience All in all, the Mayflower Park Hotel is a historic gem with modern comforts, superb service, and reasonable pricing.
