A Journey through an Italian Garden Wonderland

Here you can: watch the sunrise, go for a morning run, relax, take a stroll, read, study, enjoy an exhibition, overlook the city, picnic, meditate, walk your dog, admire the sunset… 🕌 Parco di Villa Spada – Free entry📍Via di Casaglia, 3, 40135 Bologna BO⏰ April to September: 7:30-22:00, October to March: 7:30-18:00 ⛲️ Villa Spada is an Italian-style building featuring a terraced garden with geometric flower beds and low hedges. 🌴The garden is situated above the villa’s entrance level and can be accessed via terraces that offer the best views. 🌳The villa includes an Italian garden, fountains, and grand staircases. After undergoing several changes over the years, the villa and its park were purchased by the Bologna municipality in the 1960s and opened to the public in the early 20th century. 🌷Today, it houses a textile and tapestry museum, paying tribute to art and craftsmanship. 📖 A short walk away, there’s a free library and study room. When I lived nearby, I was a regular here—often walking over to study and read. #ItalianLife #Bologna #ItalianGarden
