A Journey to South Africa

In the United Kingdom, many people are fond of South Africa, a land with unique African beauty. They tirelessly travel to South Africa to enjoy the breathtaking beaches, magnificent mountains, unparalleled cuisine, explore beautiful estates, taste award-winning wines, and savor high-quality coffee. South Africa is also one of the few places on Earth where you can see all of the Big Five animals (elephants, buffaloes, rhinoceroses, lions, and leopards) in a single day. This can be considered one of the best reasons to travel to South Africa. Our understanding of South Africa began with Mandela's struggle to eliminate racial segregation in the country. In addition to that, South Africa is known for its rich mineral resources, especially its gold production, which accounts for half of the world's output. South Africa Visa ✅ The required documents are quite numerous, especially when it comes to bank statements under the applicant's name. They are very particular about this. Not only do they require the statements from the past three months, but also those from the last seven days. If you are employed, you need a certificate of employment and proof of salary. In short, the higher the balance on your bank statement, the better. ✅ There is no very clear statement regarding the vaccination for yellow fever. To be on the safe side, I got a shot at the local pharmacy, which is valid for life. ✅ You must have a confirmed round-trip ticket. ✅ A detailed itinerary from the travel agency. ✅ Proof of residence in the UK. ✅ Passport (valid for more than six months) and photos go without saying. What to Bring ✅ Mosquito repellent, cold medicine, and vitamin C effervescent tablets, etc. Bring any medicine you think you might need. ✅ Sunscreen (the sun is very strong). ✅ Moisturizing face masks (the climate is relatively dry). ✅ Hiking shoes (at least one pair of waterproof ones). Our first stop this time is Johannesburg (my husband has a three-day meeting in Joburg). After a four-day stay, we will fly to Cape Town. During this time, I will participate in their team-building activities in the bush. The highlight of the next two weeks will be around Cape Town, including Kruger National Park and the Panorama Route. We will also taste estate wines. Of course, there is the long-awaited Cape of Good Hope, a famous rocky promontory on the Atlantic coast of the Cape Peninsula.
