A Lanzhou Hand-Pulled Noodle Spot Opens in Murfreesboro
I ordered Combo B: Beef noodles (you can choose the thickness of the noodles), and the noodles were quite springy 🍜. The broth was light, with a mild beef flavor. The combo also included: Braised beef (tender and soft) Marinated egg (tasted similar to what I make at home, with a strong soy-braised flavor) Side dishes (we swapped our drink for an extra side and tried all 4—they tasted like something from a small neighborhood breakfast stall. Not super gourmet, but homely and nostalgic) Drink (exchanged for an extra side dish) Overall, I think the flavor was on point ✅! But, two things stood out: 1️⃣ Price felt a bit high — the combo was $25.99. Honestly, the beef broth is something you could easily replicate at home. 2️⃣ I also ordered a beef “roujiamo” (Chinese burger), but the filling was more like sweet Beijing-style shredded beef 🥩🍯, not what I expected from a traditional roujiamo. I’d say if you like sweet-savory flavors, you might enjoy it — but it wasn’t quite my thing 😅. Still, for a taste of hand-pulled noodles in Murfreesboro, it’s a solid try — especially if you’re craving that fresh noodle texture! #MurfreesboroEats #LanzhouNoodles#Murfreesboro#Murfreesborofood#Murfreesborolife#Tennessee#Murfreesboroguide
