🦞 A Little Lobster Tour in Boston

I used to think lobster was overrated—until I came to Boston and ate eight of them. Turns out, it wasn't lobster that was the problem, it was the lobster I’d had before! With limited time, I couldn’t try every spot on the list, so here are my takes in order of recommendation: 🦞 Alive & Kicking Lobsters Located in Cambridge, about a 25-minute walk from Harvard. Tucked away in a residential area. Highly recommend this one! Super fresh lobster at the best price! Their special includes two lobsters + clams or mussels + corn, all for around $55. We loved it so much we ordered another round, plus a lobster sandwich and lobster bisque. Zero disappointments—only wished we had more room to eat. The lobster was plump, firm, and downright sexy! 🦞 Legal Sea Food Multiple locations. Not sure why Google ratings aren’t higher—I thought it was great! I tried the stuffed lobster, filled with scallop and shrimp. So decadent, so luxurious, so satisfying. Definitely on the heavier side, but totally worth the calories! That said, purely in terms of pure lobster flavor, the first spot still wins. Legal’s claw meat had a slight fishy note. 🙅 Hei La Moon Saw someone recommend their Hong Kong-style lobster and decided to give it a try—felt totally let down. Any decent restaurant in Chinatown would do better! $30 for a tiny, scrawny lobster… and worse, it wasn’t even fully steamed—the claw meat was still soft and undercooked. Nothing to praise here. Big miss. #Food #Lobster #LobsterFeast #Seafood #Boston #BostonFood #BostonFoodExploration
