A Meal at Le Pigeon 🍽️
Today, I took Xiaoxiang to dine at Le Pigeon in Portland! This restaurant has always been famous, and I finally had the chance to try it. As soon as we entered, we were drawn in by the cozy atmosphere—soft lighting and comfortable seating that made us instantly relax 😊. For the appetizer, we ordered grilled octopus, with a charred exterior and tender inside, paired with a tangy sauce that woke up the taste buds. Xiaoxiang said, “This is absolutely delicious!” I couldn’t help but nod in agreement 🐙💕. The main course was the signature pigeon dish—tender and perfectly pan-seared, served with mushrooms and red wine sauce for a rich, layered flavor. Every bite was memorable 🍷🍖. The silky mashed potatoes on the side were so smooth, I almost asked for another serving! For dessert, we chose the chocolate tart, rich but not overly sweet, paired with ice cream for a perfect contrast of hot and cold 🍫❄️. Xiaoxiang smiled and said, “We have to come back again!” Overall, every dish at Le Pigeon was refined and delicious, and the service was attentive. Although it’s a bit pricey, the experience was worth it 👍.
