A Meal in Seattle That Made Me Lose My Sense of Taste 😭

Super mega cosmic-level AVOID ⚠️ How does OpenTable rate this place 4.5/5?! Of all the dishes we ordered, only the little bread served with the prosciutto was edible — everything else was bizarrely wrong. 🍖 Prosciutto Yellow mustard with ham — the bread made me crave beef jerky, but of course they don’t serve that here. 🥗 Insalata di Cicoria Thought, “How bad can a salad be?” Olives, raisins, pistachios, orange, lettuce, purple cabbage — already chaotic like a world war, but shouldn’t be awful… unless they drench it in their “secret” dressing: a sour, astringent, wine‑infused vinaigrette that tasted like revenge. 🍗 Coscia di Pollo alla Cacciatora Looked golden, tasted like nothing. My friend said it resembled takeout roasted chicken — and that was too generous. Just tomato chicken legs with a few sad roasted potatoes — so lazy. 🍝 Tagliatelle al Burro di Tartufo Truffle pasta — bland. No visible ingredients besides noodles. The so‑called truffle sauce had zero truffle flavor, and the pasta arrived clumped together like it sat in the kitchen for a thousand years. 🍝 Pappardelle con L’Anatra Duck pasta — slightly better because it actually had a few pieces of meat (and a higher price tag), but that’s it. Not even a sprinkle of parsley for color. 💸 $160 for two after tip — would’ve been happier at Shake Shack 😅 📍 La Spiga Osteria The owner might want to run a high‑end restaurant, but the cooking and plating are miles behind — only the prices keep up. If you’re dating here… you might just break up after the meal. #SeattleEats #FoodFail #SeattleRestaurants #WhitePeopleFood #DiningDisaster #Overpriced #DateNightGoneWrong #SeattleLife
