A Mineral Hot Springs Hotel Near LA – Miracle Hot Spring 💫

Desert Hot Spring is a small town near Palm Springs with natural mineral spring sources. Many so-called “hot spring hotels” in Palm Springs are really just heated pools—not actual mineral water. If you’re looking for real mineral therapy, head to Desert Hot Spring instead! While this town doesn’t have big luxury resorts, I recommend Miracle Spring Resort and Spa. 🏊 The resort has 8 natural mineral pools at different temperatures. The water is sulfur-free and rich in minerals—great for families! Hotel guests (adults) have 24/7 pool access; kids can swim from 8 AM–10 PM. Non-guests can buy a day pass from 10 AM–6 PM. Spa services are also available. 🏨 Built in 1995, the facilities are a bit dated—not for those seeking a luxury hot spring experience. Book a ground-floor poolside room so you can step right from your balcony into the pools! Room types vary; we usually book a multiple-bed suite with 2 queen beds + a sofa bed, plus a microwave and fridge. These suites are limited, so book early! 👨👩👧👦 Great for families: • Enjoy morning sunshine while the kids are still asleep ☀️ • Visit the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway (~20 min drive) or the Cabazon Dinosaur Park (also ~20 min away)—both family-friendly! • No free breakfast buffet, but the hotel restaurant offers à la carte dining. 🗓️ Suggested itinerary from LA: Stop at the Palm Springs Tramway on your way—dine at the mountaintop restaurant, hike the trails, or play in the snow in winter. Arrive at the hotel in the afternoon for swimming and soaking, have dinner at the restaurant, enjoy the pools again the next morning, then visit Cabazon Dinosaur Park + Desert Hills Outlets on your way back.
