A Must-Visit Spot for Air-Flown Japanese Uni – Come Early! 🍣💫

I’ve seen this place pop up so many times~ Their plating and ingredient quality always caught my eye. They boast using fresh Japanese sea urchin and high-quality Japanese rice. Since the uni is flown in from Japan, supply is limited—many posts say if you come too late, it sells out! So I made sure to visit right at opening on a weekday. 😆 Of course, on my first trip, I wanted to try everything~~ 【5 Handroll Combo】 Spicy Tuna Roll: Spicy tuna with crispy onions Salmon Crunch Roll: Fresh salmon bits—so flavorful!! Scallop Roll: Bay scallops with flying fish roe—bursting with juice and texture! Yellowtail Crunch Roll: Minced yellowtail, tender and smooth Blue Crab Roll: Blue crab meat and avocado This set is a great deal! Individual rolls cost 7-8, but the whole set is only 29! The ingredients are super fresh, so you really can’t go wrong. 【5 Additional À La Carte Rolls】 Spicy Yellowtail Roll: Yellowtail with green pepper, cilantro, burdock root, lemon zest, and yuzu soy—refreshing with a hint of spice. Banh Mi Roll: Vietnamese banh mi inspired! Longfin tuna with pickled radish, chili, garlic chili oil, lime zest, and cilantro—truly unique. They even have a bossam handroll—so creative! Golden Uni Roll: Sea urchin + 24K gold foil + pickled wasabi + shiso leaf. The owner was opening a fresh box of uni right when I ordered—so lucky! It was incredibly sweet and delicious 🧡 And fairly priced—usually Santa Barbara uni costs around the same elsewhere. CUT Roll: Tuna, uni, and caviar—rich and luxurious layers! Lobster Roll: Seems like a seasonal special. Peanut sauce, seafood hoisin, sriracha, scallions, and crispy onion—bold and Southeast Asian-inspired! They likely have more seasonal items—I’ll definitely be back to try them. 【Uni Toast】 Crispy Japanese white toast topped with herb mayo, salmon roe, nori, and sea urchin—an absolutely luxurious bite! 🍞✨ 【Marinated Shrimp】 So flavorful! I was pleasantly surprised to see marinated shrimp on the menu—I always order it when it’s available! Overall, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, and the prices are reasonable. It’s not fine dining, so no need to be overly critical—it’s already excellent for what it is! Their sashimi bowls also look amazing—next time I’ll bring my colleagues for a quick lunch try! Temaki Society 351 S Broadway, Los Angeles, CA 90013 Park at the Grand Central Market lot—only $5 for under 90 minutes. Street parking is hard to find and expensive! #LocalEats #LosAngeles #LALife #LAFoodie #UniLover #JapaneseCuisine
