A Must-Visit Town Near Frankfurt for the Weekend 🍇🚡

Rüdesheim am Rhein is truly a hot spot around Frankfurt. It's a Riesling town that you absolutely can't miss. It's a place I always take friends to when they visit Frankfurt, and I've been there a few times myself for leisure. Take the open-air cable car 🚡 up the mountain, enjoying the breeze, and when the weather is nice, bask in the warm sun with vineyards covering the hills as far as the eye can see. At the top, visit the monument, take in the view of the Rhine River, and the small town of Bingen across the way. 🚡🎫 The cable car ticket is 6.5 euros for a one-way trip and 10 euros for a round trip. Walking down the mountain along the vineyards, get up close and personal with the grapes 🍇 that make the wine, and then find a spot at the bottom of the hill for a little drink. It's very satisfying. As for taverns, I don't have any particular recommendations. The places I've been to were nothing special, and most of the time they were too crowded for me to keep looking for a tavern. If you have any recommendations, please share them. (I've heard that the wine is even better in Mosel, is that true?) For wine, I think Hattenheim is quite nice, just a few stops before Rüdesheim. It's a ten-minute walk from the train station to the riverbank. #Frankfurt #FrankfurtOuting #FrankfurtSurroundings #FrankfurtWeekend #WhereToPlayInGermanyOnTheWeekend #GermanWeekendLife #FrankfurtGoodSpots #GermanLife #WhereToGoOnTheWeekend #BoringFreeGermanWeekends
