A New Din Tai Fung Location Is Opening In Irvine, California – Here’s When & Where

Din Tai Fung , the L.A. favorite and family-owned Taiwanese restaurant that has become a global phenomenon, is opening a **new location**! The newest restaurant is bringing its delicious soup dumplings to Orange County. With a 15,000 square foot dining space, the Irvine location is opening this February. And don’t worry OG fans, the new location will include a dumpling showcase kitchen as well as an indoor courtyard and sculpture garden . “Din Tai Fung Irvine is our third restaurant in Orange County, where we’ve been able to build a loyal and passionate guest base,” said Din Tai Fung CEO Albert Yang. “We are thrilled to be opening at the Irvine Spectrum Center, a space where community and culture collide. The Irvine community and dining scene offer incredible diversity and are very family-oriented – values we care about deeply at Din Tai Fung as a family business.” The press release says it will bring over 300 new jobs to the local economy. A reservation-only soft launch will kick open the doors on February 6, 2026 . It will be open from 11 am to 9 pm daily with full menu service. The official grand opening is scheduled for March 2, 2026 .
