A not-so-tasty restaurant in Philadelphia: Bistro Perrier
Upon arriving at the restaurant, stepping into the courtyard felt like discovering a hidden gem, quite beautiful. The waiter introduced that they are a culinary school where students come to intern in the restaurant once a week (the menu has very few options, just a few dishes... At that time, I thought, it definitely won't be difficult to eat, as French cuisine must be very professional). The appetizer arrived: the onion soup was okay (at this point, I was still secretly pleased with my choice of restaurant), the mussels sauce was a bit hard to describe, very creamy, and the taste was heavy... There was a pork sausage, and after taking one bite, I spat it out directly 🤮, it was like watery pork belly... For the main course: we ordered all 5 on the menu (none of them were good, all were 💣, if I had to choose one, the fish was okay). The roasted chicken was so dry (it was the first time I've seen a chicken done so poorly). The pasta noodles were so soft they stuck together (I called the manager, and he said the dish is supposed to be like this... I was speechless 🤦, you say it is, then it is). The ham sandwich, my sister and I barely took a bite... Fortunately, it was very cheap 😅. The check for 5 people was $280, including a bottle of wine we ordered. #Philadelphia #PhiladelphiaFood #PhiladelphiaLife #StudyingInPhiladelphia #PhiladelphiaShopExploration #PhiladelphiaRestaurants
