A One-Day Trip to Malmö
For my one-day trip to Malmö, I bought a double ticket directly at Copenhagen Central Station (later I found out tickets can also be purchased at the airport). I missed the 9:30 AM train, so I checked the signs—turns out you can board any passing train heading to Malmö! I caught the 09:44 AM train: went down from Gate 7, saw the train, and got on right away. I was totally not used to this casual, flexible way of traveling 😂. After a 45-minute ride, I arrived at Malmö Station. There was no exit check—I walked out in just 2 minutes. Only one ticket inspection happened during the trip. Malmö’s street scenes are classic Nordic style—you can explore on foot or by public transport. A travel pass lets you ride buses for free: I took Bus 7 (one stop) to Malmö Castle. The castle itself is free to enter, but there are two museums inside (100 SEK for entry): a Natural History Museum and a Science and Technology Museum 🦕🔬. After visiting the castle, I walked for about 10 minutes to the nearby station—there are all kinds of restaurants and shops around, perfect for a bite or a quick browse 🍜🛍️. For the return trip, I just checked the train schedule, went down from Gate 1B, and boarded the train back to Copenhagen. It was that straightforward! #Copenhagen #IndependentTravel #Malmö #VlogMyDay
