A Pasta Bar - My Favorite Pasta Spot of the Year

A Pasta Bar - Nestled in the Soho area of New York I was lucky to score a reservation at this place ✨ I didn’t have high expectations, after all, I went because of the marketing I saw on Instagram. Unexpectedly, it became my favorite pasta of 2024 😍 (Non-traditional pasta ⚠️ 🍨 Homemade Burrata 🥰 Judging by its appearance, it was a must-try, but in the end, I was conquered by its taste. The jam and crushed pistachios paired perfectly with the creamy burrata. I ended up asking for more bread to go with it twice. After eating two baskets of bread, I was already half full. (The bread they serve before the meal 🥖 is also excellent! 🦪 Spaghetti Alle Vongole 😍 The clams were plentiful! The subtle spiciness also enhanced the freshness. Highly recommended! 🦞 Tagliatelle All’Astice 😘 The lobster meat was a bit scarce, but the unique touch was the lobster roe in the sauce. The pasta was still delicious. The side dish of cherry tomatoes was peeled, which was a detail that really impressed me. 🍫 Cheesecake 😀 I’ll pass on this dessert. The texture was perfect, just a bit too rich for my taste. If you prefer traditional, affordable pasta, then Cotenna is the place to go. But this place has a strong artistic vibe, with rich and innovative pasta sauces. No downsides except for the price (make sure to book ahead). I want to try the other two popular pastas next time. The sixty-dollar small pizza was a bit shocking 🤯 #NewYork #NewYorkFood #NewYorkPasta #NorthAmericaLife #SohoNewYork #NewYorkDateNight #NewYorkDiningAdventures
