Last weekend I spontaneously spent a day in Tacoma, and it turned out to be incredibly refreshing! π§ Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium Home to polar bears, penguins, and sea otters! The otters were super cuteβswimming in endless circles π¦¦π¦. The zoo is shaded with plenty of trees, so itβs comfortable to walk even on sunny days. Great playgrounds for kids β very family-friendly! π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ πΈ Japanese Garden (right next to the zoo) Though small, itβs serene and photogenic πΏ. Featuring a pond, a small bridge, and beautiful light filtering through trees β easy to take pretty photos here! πΈ ποΈ Bonus Surprise: Views of Mount Rainier! On the way to Tacoma and from higher spots near the zoo, you can see the majestic mountain in the distance.
