A Perfect Oasis in Bustling French Quarter 🌿✨
I visited Cane & Table twice during my trip to New Orleans—once as part of a food tour, and once simply because the food and drinks were just that good. Finding a well-balanced cocktail in the French Quarter can be challenging, but Cane & Table truly nails it. The sweet plantains and fried pork rinds (a delightful variation on the Filipino/Mexican chicharrón I grew up with) were absolutely outstanding. The pork rinds were coated in a light sweet glaze that beautifully complemented their savory crunch—a perfect harmony of flavors 🐖🍯. As for drinks, their take on the Hurricane (in my opinion, far better than Pat O’Brien’s!) and the modern Bombo were exceptional—perfectly balanced, neither too sweet nor too bitter 🍹🌴. The atmosphere here is pure magic. With its exposed brick walls, peeling vintage wallpaper, and candle wax dripped from years of use, the space feels rich with history and soul 🕯️🧱. It’s a calm, intimate oasis away from the French Quarter’s nonstop buzz. And of course, the real star of the place is Nunu the cat 🐱💕—the sweet resident feline who adds that extra touch of charm! All in all, Cane & Table is a must-visit—great drinks, warm vibes, and stories waiting in every corner. Don’t miss it! #CaneAndTable #FrenchQuarterGem #CocktailHeaven #NewOrleansEats #HistoricVibes #NOLADrinks #HiddenOasis #MustVisit
