A Quick Peek at the Roswell Christmas Market in Atlanta 🎅🌟
🅿️ There are several small event parking lots nearby, and there’s also street parking available. It seems parking might be tricky on weekend evenings, but it’s manageable during the day and midweek. I went in the afternoon on a weekend and found it easy to find a spot. 🚗✅ 🚌 There’s a shuttle bus running from Roswell City Hall to the market, operating from 4pm-9pm on Fridays and 3pm-8pm on Saturdays and Sundays. 🚌🕒 ⏰ Opening Hours: Monday-Thursday: 3pm-9pm Friday-Saturday: 12pm-10pm Sunday: 12:30pm-10pm Christmas Eve: 12:30pm-6pm ❤️ Recommended Spots ❤️ The area is quite spacious with several sections, so it doesn’t feel crowded at all. 🌟🏢 There’s a house that feels like a private museum, built in 1839. The owner was among the first immigrants to the Roswell area, hence the house is named after the owner’s surname, Bulloch Hall. It’s open for free during the Christmas market. It’s a place with no history of its own, as all the history seems to be imported from Europe, including the BGM which is even Scottish bagpipes music. 🏰🎶 Santa Claus is available for photos after 4 pm on weekends. 🎅📸 They have everything you’d expect: bread, hot mulled wine, Christmas decorations, candles, music boxes… and there are tents where you can go inside to eat if it gets cold. 🍞🍷 Dogs are welcome! 🐕 There are restrooms available, and they weren’t too dirty when we went, probably because we arrived early. 😂🚽 💔 Don’t Set Your Expectations Too High 💔 While they have all the expected items, it doesn’t necessarily your appetite or desire to shop. Only the items in the separately built shop in the P8 picture look a bit more refined. But then you look at the prices and think, why bother. 🤔💰 #CityConnoisseurPlan #ChristmasMarketVisit #AtlantaChristmas #TravelNotForTheGram #MakeTheMostOfEveryWeekend #AutumnAdventures #AutumnHiddenInSmallTowns
