A Real 25-Foot Gingerbread House Celebrating ‘Home Alone’ Has Popped Up In Los Angeles — Smashing The Guinness World Record
Disney+ and Hulu are celebrating the **35th anniversary of *Home Alone* in spectacular fashion with the “world’s largest gingerbread house,” a 2-day installation that just popped up in Los Angeles. The enormous house is now standing at the corner of Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles, unmistakably inspired by the McAllister home from the films. A Guinness World Record certificate is posted in front of the installation. Weather depending, installation will stay up for one more night — tonight, Friday, Dec. 19th, 2025. The world’s largest gingerbread house ------------------------------------- The gingerbread replica of the McAllister home stands at an imposing 25.6 feet tall, 58 feet long, and 42 feet wide. It bears a Guinness World Record certificate dated Dec. 18, 2025. The structure is comprised of 4,400 gingerbread brick tiles and 800 roof tiles, held together with 20 gallons of edible glue and decorated with 20 pounds of fondant. Visitors to the gingerbread house are invited to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate in person to Toys for Tots.
