A refined restaurant hidden in the hills of Florence🥂
For my birthday, I chose a restaurant that was recently selected as a Michelin-recommended spot. It’s run by a husband-and-wife team and is located in a small city just outside Florence... About the Menu : There are set menus, surprise boxes, or you can order à la carte. (I chose the seafood option.) Entrée : The Ferrero finto was truly memorable... 🍫 Inside the chocolate was chicken liver, and there was even a hazelnut inside. It perfectly recreated the Ferrero experience. The combination of flavors was incredibly unique and surprising.💥 Gambero & Animella : Shrimp meat with beef offal. Aside from the slightly fishy sauce, the overall taste was quite good. Ravioli : When you bite into it, the cheese oozes out, creating an intense flavor explosion in your mouth.🧀 It was paired with mushrooms and onions.🍄 (P.S. This dish seemed unrelated to seafood and also appeared in the meat menu.) Fusillone : The spiral pasta hid chunks of tuna. 🐟 This dish was a bit less impressive compared to the others. Dessert : The dessert included in the set menu was yogurt, but I was intrigued by another option, so I asked if I could swap it out. I got a "yes" and was delighted with the Snello (which seemed inspired by Snickers) shown in photo 11.
