A Sandwich Is the Touchstone of a Bakery (2)ππ
Otway Bakery π₯Ham Sandwich $10+tax The filling is just okay, but the baguette is really nice. It's good value for money compared to other similar options. ππ Radio Bakery π₯Ham & Rosemary Butter Sandwich $13.5+tax The stirato bread is great; the filling is a pricier alternative to Otway's, with meaty ham and super fragrant rosemary butter. πΏπ Saraghina Bakery π₯Butter & Ham Baguette $6.5+tax Great value for money. The filling is a bit sparse and doesn't quite hit the spot for me, but the baguette is yummy (the crust is on the harder side, especially at the ends). I recommend buying the baguette separately and customizing it yourself. ππ₯ Eataly πPanino con Roast Beef $12.9+tax Since Eataly sells homemade bread, it counts as a bakery, right? (Just kidding.) A friend said the mortadella with pistachio sauce sandwich is amazing, but this roast beef one is just average. The meat is a bit dry, the horseradish sauce lacks flavor, and the bread is a tad dry too. π #Roundup #NewYorkBakery #HiddenNYC Gems π
