A Seafood Adventure in Tacoma: The Fish Peddler 🦀🌊
Living in the North End for too long, sometimes you gotta head south for a delicious surprise—and Tacoma never disappoints. This time, we checked out The Fish Peddler, a seafood spot right by the Thea Foss Waterway. Too bad the weather wasn’t cooperating—otherwise, we could’ve sat outside with a killer waterfront view. We ordered a few seafood dishes at random, and BOOM—the Cioppino was an immediate showstopper. HUGE snow crab legs, sweet and tender, not drowned in salt like some places do. Then came the Crab Mac & Cheese—at first glance, I thought we got scammed. A giant plate with what looked like barely any crab... until I dug in and found layers of real, juicy crab meat hiding underneath. Mind. Blown. 🤯 The Seafood Pasta? Perfectly balanced, loaded with rich, cheesy goodness. And the fish tacos? So stuffed, the tortilla could barely close! 🌮💥 The restaurant’s vibe? Coastal charm meets fisherman’s pride—walls covered in vintage fishing photos and mounted "trophy" catches. Imagining a summer evening here, breeze in your hair, seafood on your plate… absolute bliss.
