A Solo Two-Day Trip to Prague: My Experience

❤️ Pro tip: If you want a combo ticket, buy it at the ticket office in Golden Lane. 💫The package includes four attractions: St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George’s Basilica, the Old Royal Palace, and Golden Lane. 💫While only St. Vitus Cathedral is truly worth it, the tickets are sold as a bundle. 💫The line at the cathedral’s ticket booth was long, but Golden Lane had no queue. The current price is 450 CZK for all four sites. ❤️ The best panoramic views of Prague can be enjoyed almost as soon as you start ascending. 🌝Several cafés offer great vantage points—I recommend Lobkowicz Palace Restaurant & Café, which has a scenic terrace and a lovely interior garden. ❤️ After descending from the castle, I visited Waldstein Garden (Valdštejnská zahrada), 🌝a free-entry garden with a pond full of giant goldfish and meticulously trimmed greenery—reminiscent of the gardens at the Royal Alcázar of Seville in Spain. ❤️ Next stop: St. Nicholas Church (Kostel sv. Mikuláše). The 140 CZK entrance fee is absolutely worth it. 🌀Many people turned back after seeing the ticket price, but missing out would be a mistake—the gold-adorned interiors and emerald-green walls are breathtaking. 🌀Europe has countless churches, but few are this small yet stunning. ❤️ Finally, I headed toward Café Louvre, but the menu photos outside didn’t tempt me. 🌴Instead, I opted for a traditional Czech dish—potato dumplings (knedlíky)—at a nearby restaurant. #PragueTravel #PragueFood #PragueGardens #StVitusCathedral
