A Texas Road Trip 🇺🇸

The route started in Houston → San Antonio → Austin → back to Houston. It was a slow-paced, relaxing trip—perfectly pregnancy-friendly! Sharing for my fellow sisters’ reference! 👭🌸 ⸻ Houston → San Antonio Arrived around noon. Attractions: Visited The Alamo 🏛️ + took a River Walk boat tour 🚤 + strolled around Market Square. The city is compact and easy to explore on foot! Dinner: Tons of riverside restaurants to choose from. We picked Domingo—great food and amazing views! 🌃🍽️ In-Depth San Antonio Day Morning: Buckhorn Saloon & Museum 🤠 (Highly recommended! Rich collections, interactive exhibits, ticket $25). Lunch: Ate at the museum restaurant—their wraps were delicious! 🌯 Afternoon: City Walk 🚶♀️ + afternoon tea at La Panadería 🥐☕. Their croissants are fantastic, and the coffee is a must-try! 😋 Dinner: Chose a Mexican restaurant by the river (many options—just pick one with good ratings!). A perfect way to end the day! 🌮🌉 ⸻ San Antonio → Austin Lunch: Ate and shopped in the 2nd Street District—lots of trendy clothing stores! 👗🛍️ Must-Drink: Jo’s Coffee—their Iced Turbo is a must! ☕❄️ Afternoon: Explored South Congress Avenue—such a unique neighborhood! Cowboy boots, hats, and all kinds of Western-style items—so fun to browse and buy! 👢🎩 Jeni’s Ice Cream 🍦—the strawberry flavor is absolutely divine! Evening: Went to see the Congress Avenue Bridge bats 🦇. Honestly, not super worth it—we waited under the bridge for two hours and only saw a few scattered bats. Not as spectacular as expected, so maybe skip unless you’re really curious! 😅 #SanAntonio #TexasRoadTrip
